Austerbar

Nice little 60's-styled bar in a side street of Eimsbüttel.
A purple wall, a mirror ball and a cool DJ spinning some 60's tunes create a funky atmosphere.
Getting seats was a bit of a challenge but we succeeded as it's only a small room. Seats aren't too comfy though, more like simply leather benches and chairs.
The clientele was relaxed and slightly older (30/40) than the usual young crowd you'd find in these kind of bars.
Sadly neither Astra nor Becks on offer there but Augustiner and Pilsner Urquell instead. Also they seem to have a cocktail of the week for a good price.
It's a fine place to kick of a good night out or alternatively for a quiet beer in the neighbourhood during the week.
Not too bad.

Below expectations, limited choice of wine and also the margarita I got below the standards of a margarita! Overrated! Good prices though!

Great bar styled in 60's decor. Kinda small but plenty of seating usually available. Really well made drinks and a fairly good selection for such a small place. A bit out of the way but definitely worth it. The bartender was super nice and I'm glad a friend of mine dragged me over here. Seems like this place is not yet discovered and is a bit of an insider tip. Let's hope it stays that way which I think it will due to location
