The Tavern

Came here with my parents (and Jasmine, the family dog) for meal few weeks ago. Like many places in the countryside, they are dog friendly. As you will see from my photos, they have various signs/cushions to highlight this :)

We ordered our food and the staff gave some food (treats) and some water for the dog which was nice.

As for the food, I went for the sirloin steak. Now sirloin isnt usually my cut of choice (although when went to Fazenda recently that was properly the best) but went for it - mainly because they didn't have rib eye! I have to say, it was a really good steak. I have had better but this was really good. I did ask for it medium rare and you it was not quite as pink as I would have liked but the steak had lovely flavour and was moist and not dry.

My mum had the prawn spaghetti which she said was ok - could have done with some sauce and maybe a few more prawns. My Dad had the burger which he said was good. I think Jasmine liked her food and water!

Just pub grub and not that brilliant.watch for overcharging.
