Great banya - spacious, clean, cheap, and with really nice and sweet staff (especially after some of the staff spent 4 days living there due to hurricane Sandy knocking out power and hot water in their own homes). Regret not trying the food but the kvass and massage were both excellent. Only complaint is that the cold water pool was not cold enough (albeit they were dumping truckloads of ice into it).
Excellent quality and value. Warm, generous and highly attentive staff. Korean BBQ can't be beat - nor can their $100 dinner for 4. Don't feel the MSG I usually do at Korean places (esp in stews), side dishes don't feel tired either.
Hands down best ramen I've ever had in North America. I don't say this lightly having spent a bit of time running around ramen alley in Sapporo, Japan as well as countless other 'reputable' establishments around the world. Highly recommend house broth, and noodles firm. The beef and provolone dumplings were quite novel, but it worked.
I'm almost selfishly hoping this place stays a secret so I won't have to endure the ridiculous lines one finds at Ippudo and other well-known ramen establishments.
This is hands down the best Mexican place I've ever eaten at in the East. Great beef tripe, tongue, Al Pastor and awesome salsa verde! Warm staff, quick service and everything home made.
