What a jewel of a restaurant!
Once you found the entrance hidden in a courtyard, you are up for an amazing journey!
In nice settings, you will find a very friendly staff, a great and chill-out ambiance and most and foremost some delicious savors from the unknown Sri Lanka...
This type of cuisine has touches of Indian and west Asian flavors, with some papadam, flat breads, delicious curry or Safran rice... And yet I've never tasted something quite like it! The balance of spices and flavors is amazing, and since everything is prepared fresh and instantaneously for each guest, you can have it "mild", "spicy" or "very spicy"! The waiters are very helpful and will be happy to advice you :)
I must try for any food or travels lover!
This restaurant has become my favourite of the few Bamboo restaurants in town, probably because they not only have a huge buffet of good Asian food (soups, salads, hot meals, sushis & makis, sliced fruits, and all kind of raw ingredients to have cooked on the teppanyaki grill), but also the friendliest of staff!!! :)
I never tried it but they also have European desserts (tiramisu, ice cream and chocolate fondue!)
I never tried their menu but i just love their lunch all-you-can-eat buffet!
One can choose anything from the 2 soups, several salads, lots of fresh sushis and makis, warm dishes with meat, fish, tofu, pasta, fried rice and/or vegetables, and a few desserts and fruit salads.
Perfect for a delicious and quick lunch!
They also make takes out, with the possibility to ring them to order and pick up your food at a set time! :)
A lovely Japanese restaurant with very tasty and fresh Japanese cuisine!
They have a big menu for a very decent price, from fresh sushi or maki sets to big Bento boxes (served with some yummy miso soup and rice) to Udons and other specialities...
The balance of my dish (grilled seafoods with soy and vegetables) was just right, the food tasted great!
I'll be back :)
be ready for HUGE plates of food in the best Austrian tradition!
There are renowned for their Wiener Schnitzel, allegedly the bests in Vienna. I've seen a documentary on how they prepared them (making them sooooo thin it doesn't fit on a plate!) and cooking them in three different pans at different temperatures for a very precise time each (each seconds count!).
Let's try for your self, you won't be disappointed by the friendly atmosphere and the traditional cooking!
When you have some friends visiting and they ask to eat THE typical Viennese meal... Take them to Figlmüller!^^
They are famous for their wonderful Wienerschnitzel and Potatoes salad, and seriously it really is as good as it gets!
The taste and the size of the Schnitzel, the comfy wooden furnitures and the friendly staff (yes, the Austrian staff there was smiling and helpful!) will make your meal unforgettable.
And if you can't finish your plate (very likely to happen), you can have the rest to take away!
